“Freeing myself allowed me to follow my passion. As a result the sales in my shop doubled! For the first time national publications picked up my work and it’s been non-stop since! I was chosen as the only milliner to design millinery using bathroom tissue for a national campaign in Canada.”

Dunkley has a shop full of wonderful hats, including an English Fascinator with rolled sinamay leaves, custom dyed and embellished with shaved coque feathers and burnt peacock feathers.

He studied with theatrical milliner, Barbara Hobbs and Ms. Rose Cory, former Milliner to the late Queen Mother. “The artistic confidence of Ms. Cory helped me discover the type of Milliner I am.” David also makes bridal headpieces and hats.
