Jan Wutkowski Milliner Jan Wutkowski is a dedicated hat instructor
- teaching at the International Millinery Forum in
Australia twice. She also developed a Blog and utilized
social media to connect to milliners, hat lovers and
customers throughout the world.
Jan makes one-of-a-kind hats, has recreated hats from
movies (for clients) and has been asked to make very
small (19.5”) and very large (26”) hats.
This year she used handmade felt, abstract machine
embroidery, hand-dyed materials, beading and nontraditional
materials for hat-making.
Jan attended the Melbourne, Australia School of Millinery,
owns her own retail store (aMuse: artisanal finery)
and teaches at prestigious Arts and Crafts Schools.
Jan is continually inspired by the spirit of women
going through chemotherapy, as she did in 2008. She
designs and creates hats that are comfortable, stylish
and make these women feel good about themselves.
