Scott - and three other artists - created artwork for the International Day of Felt at the Curley Tale Fine Arts Gallery in Chicago. She created eight hats and displayed them on a custom made hat tree.

In an industry where I have seen quality drop and prices rise, I truly feel that higher prices should reflect a higher quality.

Scott is proud of converting a non-hat wearer. “I had a customer who said, ‘I used to hate hats, but now I love them!’ This shows that hats are becoming more of a want than a need!”

“Those words inspired me to keep doing what I love best, and to continue getting people to understand that anyone can wear a hat - they just need to find the right one!”
