Kimberly A.R. D'Auria Kimberly will be teaching fashion and millinery
to high school and college students. “The art
of millinery needs to be promoted so future generations
will keep the industry alive.”
 Kimberly opened D’Auria Designs in Newburgh,
NY. Her studio offers custommade hats in straw, fabric
and felt. The former textile designer also makes hats
for infants and children.
 She attended FIT and was mentored by Ann Albrizio
and Nora Goldstein. Kimberly teaches millinery, sewing,
painting and drawing to children and adults. “I
was fortunate to buy a millinery studio in Montreal,
Canada in 2003, which led to being able to sell vintage
embellishments and millinery supplies.
