Sheila Nobles C K Nobles is the Official Millinery Designer for
The Kentucky Derby Museum at Churchill Downs. They
also work with Brooklawn Child and Family Services
as the fashion show coordinator at The Second Annual
Concours d’Elegance presented by Churchill Downs.

What astonished Nobles was that her mother was raised
in a Louisville orphanage during the depression and
she recently learned that Brooklawn helped the orphanage
where her mom was raised. “So, through my hats
I was able to give back to them.”
CK Nobles works with local event companies and shares
millinery design and Derby experiences with guests.
Last year they brought their hats to The Ryder Cup
and shared stores about the history of hats at the
Derby. “We were told we were the hit of the event.
People loved our hats.”
When she was in third grade Sheila made a dress out
of newspaper and wore it to school.
