TALENTED HEADWEAR AND ACCESSORY DESIGNER NEEDS REP AND MANUFACTURER

We recently met with headwear designer Yuka Hasegawa at her design studio in New York City. It was a real treat to see her wonderful hats and T-shirts. This woman is a real talent and is ready for the big time. Her hats have been bought by celebrities, and retailers such as Barney’s and Isetan in Japan. Her designs have been in museums in Paris, Tokyo and New York and she won the Kyoto Prize in Japan. Yuka just won a Milli Award for her crochet straw hat with scallop edged and hand dyed silk flower.

Yuka is looking for a sales representative or headwear manufacturer to help bring her hats to retailers. She also wants to design a line of moderately priced hats for a hat manufacturer under the label Yuka NY. She is ready to design and make cut and sew hats for someone.

Yuka was also nominated for a 2006 accessory award from the Fashion Group International.
