The Media is trying to make Camilla a fashion icon and it’s not so easy.
This is what the press had to say about
her red hat and plaid fashion stance. We
like her choice of berets and think others
will follow suit if she continues to sport
this style headwear.
“The duchess and Prince Charles
greet the public outside Crathie Church
in her first public outing after the wedding.
CAMILLA, the Duchess of Rothesay,
proved a year of marriage has not altered
her fashion sense when she visited a Deeside
church yesterday sporting the same red hat
that she wore on her honeymoon.
Prince Charles and his wife
celebrated their first anniversary by returning
to Crathie Parish Church, where 12 months
ago hundreds turned out to wish them well
on their first public outing after the wedding.

On that occasion, Camilla matched the striking
Philip Tracey hat with a red outfit. Yesterday
she wore it together with a Balmoral tweed jacket
and skirt by Roy Allan.
Since marrying Prince Charles, Camilla has developed
a reputation for being careful with the royal
credit cards, wearing the same outfit three times
on the recent tour of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and
India.
Fashion watchers also noted that she wore the
same fuchsia coat, trimmed with Rothesay tartan,
on three separate occasions during her Scottish
honeymoon.
However, few - if any - of around 20 hardy souls
who braved the cold yesterday, seemed bothered
by the apparent headwear faux pas.”
