CELEBRITIES DON HATS TO WARD OFF SIGNS OF PREMATURE AGING FROM THE SUN

At least someone is getting smart on the anti-aging front. This is good news for hat vendors. Since we live in such a celebrity obsessed culture right now, it is wise to watch what celebs are doing to gain a foothold on what their admirers will soon be doing.

And if the latest hat infatuation filters down from Pitt and Federline (sorry he is a celeb by proxy), then hat companies are in for a wild ride. Notice that these women are wearing wider brimmed sun protective hats. We all know that most of these ladies either had facial work done (or don’t want to have to) and are wearing the hats above as a protective device.

The fedora worn by Sienna Miller has subtle fashion flair with a stripe above the band. Someone should make hang tags with funny irreverent sayings about skin protection like, “I’m wearing this hat to preserve my shelf life,” or “Avoiding the Prune factor,” it’s just a thought. Young people love looking at something that no one else is doing or making…they crave originality.
