| 'BEN 10' ACTION
FIGURE WILL BE CAPTURED ON HEADWEAR BY CARTOON
NETWORK ENTERPRISES
The
Cartoon Network animated TV series Ben 10 is looking
to sell its fans consumer products. The program
follows a ten-year-old boy as he tries to understand
the aliens hidden in his midst.
Cartoon Network Enterprises, the product management
and global merchandising arm of the entertainment
group has inked a deal with Jay Franco and Sons,
Inc., Accessory Innovations and American Marketing
Enterprises, Inc. (AME) for a line of bed and
bath, beach items, accessories and sleepwear.
"Ben 10 is gaining momentum in the marketplace,"
Christina Miller, U.S. Vice President of Consumer
Products, Cartoon Network, commented. "We
look forward to bringing the appeal of the show
to market in more key categories through these
new partnerships with Jay Franco, Accessory Innovations
and AME."
Accessory
Innovations manufactures licensed and private
label accessories. They will work with Cartoon
Network Enterprises to develop a line of Ben 10
headwear that will include: baseball caps, hats
and rainwear.
