We just got back from the Western Apparel Show at the Denver Mart and were pleased to see that cowboy culture is alive and well…and everyone was wearing a HAT.
 
You probably noticed that the Hat Life Newsletter has been on hiatus for the past few weeks.
 
The country was awash in hat talk last month when Jack Abramoff had his day in court. Even though the former lobbyist doesn’t get much sympathy these days he did get a lot of publicity for hat vendors.
 
Chinese customs officials reported that in the first 11 months of 2005 China exported $1.324 billion worth of hats and caps, up 22.92 percent from last year. 79.16 percent ....
