HAT THEME CONTINUES
TO BE FRONT CENTER AT CHARITY EVENTS
The 2006 Hats For Heroes Celebrity Hockey Challenge
sponsored by Pepsi takes place at Nationwide Arena
in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, Aug. 27th. Current
and former Blue Jackets, NHL stars and local police
and fire fighters will play for charity. Proceeds
benefit the Columbus Hats For Heroes supports
local pediatric cancer programs.
During breaks in the on-ice action, fans will
be introduced to some of the cancer patient’s
kids who are currently battling cancer. A silent
auction, raffle and post-game autograph sessions
will take place.
Fans can hang out with pros in the locker room
and on the ice for the pre-game skate and warm-ups
as a skater or goalie. The highest bidders for
each position receive a personalized jersey, a
team photo, a team-signed stick and other perks
