Now that the most gorgeous and philanthropic Hollywood couple (Pitt and Jolie) have spawned an offspring or two in Africa, look for this global war on poverty to hit its fashion stride.

Vlisco, a Dutch owned textile company in Africa, wants to start making a luxury line in South Africa where the company thinks there is big demand for a "sophisticated label with an African twist."

"The world is ready for a luxury African brand -- an Afro-Gucci," creative director Dion Chang said in an interview. The line launches at Johannesburg Fashion Week next month.

Look for these fashion lines to include Headwear. You might want to contact some of these up- and - coming African fashion labels to see if you can make hats for them. Everyone is talking about Africa – even Bono has also launched a charity based on selling fashion items and using some of the proceeds to benefit those suffering in Africa.
