IT’S TIME TO PLUG INTO THE i POD

It seems that the iPOD is so ingrained into popular culture that clothing manufacturers are creating apparel that fits this tiny music goddess inside. Just last month Levi’s launched their RedWire DLX Jeans, that are designed to be compatible with the iPOD plug and case. It also has a joystick (don’t ask me what that is) incorporated into the jeans' watch pocket to enable easy operation of the iPod.

"The Levi's RedWire DLX Jean is the latest extension of the Levi's brand leadership position by merging fashion and technology that provides consumers with the most innovative way to enhance their portable, digital music lifestyle," said Robert Hanson, Levi's U.S. brand president.

Now it’s time to incorporate music into your headwear. How about an iPOD pocket on the side of hats or caps?

Did you know that Oakley just unveiled sunglasses with built-in music capacity? It’s called the Thump 2 and the glasses have memory storage for up to 240 songs. It can also be connected to a computer for downloading music. I am not advocating singing hats (although it’s not a bad idea), but I am advocating keeping up with your customer.
