CONTEMPORARY SPORTSWEAR DESIGNER TORY BURCH IS ENTERING THE ACCESSORY MARKET

Burch, designer to the hip urban fashionistas, is expanding her accessory empire to include shoes, bags, jewelry, belts and cold-weather goods such as scarves (printed goatskin) and shearling aviator hats.

Saks recently opened a Tory Burch shop in New York City, and Bloomingdale's is scheduled to open a 336-square-foot in-store shop in NYC. Burch also has four boutiques, in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Atlanta and is opening a store in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif.
