AS MADONNA GOES SO GOES THE FASHION WORLD

I have been thinking that the equestrian look is ready for prime time fashion. And it turns out that fashionista and pop singer Madonna is going equestrian for her upcoming “Confessions" world tour.

French couture designer Gaultier made jodhpurs, blouses and jackets in taffeta, duchess satin, Chantilly lace and silk chiffon. Gaultier is the new designer for Hermès women's ready-to-wear. Gaultier’s first collection for Hermès includes a saddle-like bustier and a belt sprouting a tail out the back.

Her equestrian and haute harem is described as Biblical chic — an off-the-shoulder blouse and velvet cropped pants accessorized with a crown of thorns. Also, in keeping with the disco flavor of her latest album, there will be a white pantsuit à la "Saturday Night Fever.”

That means it’s time to add equestrian caps and helmet hats. Use printed fabric with horses and velvet embroidered fabric for caps. This horsy trend is ready for prime fashion time.
