SCOTT STARNES PROMOTED TO EXECUTIVE VP OF SALES AT DORFMAN PACIFIC

Starnes will now be overseeing sales of men’s and ladies headwear for Dorfman Pacific and the Milano Hat Company. The former Hatco hat guy came to Dorfman Pacific in 2003 as the VP of Corporate Sales. He quickly rose through the ranks and is now poised to do great things. Everyone who knows Starnes agrees that he has what it takes to be the best.

“Scott is a highly motivated and skilled professional who has been able to inspire those around him. The future of Dorfman Pacific and the Milano Hat Company looks very good and I am excited about these changes. With the people we have in place and the growing product categories we offer, the company is poised for record growth,” said Doug Highsmith, Dorfman Pacific President & CEO,

Tom Tongue, Vice President and General Merchandise Manager for Sheplers (the 59-year-old Western wear retailer) agrees. “Scott has always been a consummate professional, a leader for his team, a knowledgeable partner, and a friend to our company. I applaud his promotion. It is earned and well deserved.”

Frank Kinney recently joined the Dorfman Pacific team as Corporate Account Executive (he was previously VP of Sales for Serratelli Hat Company). "Frank brings a 360-degree understanding of product development, sourcing, marketing and operations to Dorfman Pacific - we are fortunate to have someone of his caliber,” said Starnes.
