MARNER (OPERATING AS COMPETITION HEADWEAR) ACQUIRED SNOWCAP USA HAT COMPANY

Snowcap USA, a manufacturer and embroiderer of American-made caps and visors, who operates under the Midwest Cap Works LLC name, is now owned by Marner. In addition to caps the company also makes leather accessories such as key rings and money clips.

Snowcap's manufacturing and sales operations will be consolidated with Competition Headwear's 18,000-square-foot operation in Denver's Stapleton neighborhood. The company is located at 6748 Stapleton Dr. South.

Jeff Carlson, Snowcap president, will continue to oversee sales promotion for both companies. Marner is owned by Laurence Polner. Competition Headwear makes promotional caps for the entertainment, motor racing and special events industries.
