STACY ADAMS PICKS ACTOR TO BE BRAND SPOKESPERSON

Stacy Adams announces the selection of Golden Globe Award winning actor Ving Rhames to be the spokesman for the Stacy Adams brand.

This is the first time in the company’s 130- year history that a celebrity spokesman has been used. Rhames will begin by appearing in the Stacy Adams Spring 2007 advertising and marketing campaign.

According to Gary Malamet, President of Stacy Adams, “We feel Rhames’s style personifies what the brand is all about." Rhames appeared in the "Mission Impossible" series and in "Pulp Fiction." He also won a Golden Globe award for his portrait of Don King in the HBO miniseries "Only in America."

Stacy Adams was founded in 1875 in Brockton Mass. by William H. Stacy and Henry L. Adams. The Stacy Adams products include suits, sportswear, leather, dress shirts, ties, headwear, belts, socks, jewelry and footwear.
