PAUL McCARTNEY WILL SOON BECOME A BRAND

Singer and soon-to-be divorcee Paul McCartney has reportedly begun the process of trade marking his name for use on consumer products.

If successful, McCartney™ – through his company MPL Communications – will be granted the exclusive right to put his name on any consumer product he so desires. At this stage, it is reported that McCartney ™ will lend his name to lines of clothing, headwear and footgear.

The singing sensation and vegetarian will also have the right to use his name on meat products, but a spokesman explained it would simply “give him protection against his name being used on products he does not approve of.”

Apparently the former Beatle (who is now a brand) is going through some post- marital changes. He appeared on Saturday Night Live last Saturday night with Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin and Tony Bennett.
