WHAT WAS HOT AT THE LA TEXTILE SHOW

Fashion designers and apparel manufacturers at the Los Angeles International Textile Show last week sought out textured fabrics, organic fibers, alternatives to denim, fabrics with a metallic shine and often times… stretch components.

Organic was the key word for many desginers and manufacturers looking for the added edge. Gold and silver continues, as well as amber, copper and bronze metallics and lace. Also key: stretch satin and taffeta, macramé, crochet and silk stretch tulle in a honeycomb pattern.
