THE FAMILY OF JIMI HENDRIX IS BRINGING THE ROCK AND ROLL SINGER BACK TO LIFE – VIA MERCHANDISNG

We met up with the licensing agents for the Jimi Hendrix label and they are looking for someone to license Hendrix Headwear. So far they have Hendrix Vodka called Electric, shot glasses and other drink paraphernalia. They also have cap and T-shirt prototypes that looked pretty good. The purple, black and white logo (and packaging) is very hip and exciting, and it just might hit a nostalgic note with young people (or older ones who miss the good old days of rock and roll). I see the purple tanks as a real hot selling cult item.

The boys of the Booyaa Tribe

We also met a hip hop rapper group named Booyaa Tribe. They caused quite frenzy when they were at the South Hall at Magic – people were groping to get autographs and pictures. They said they would also like someone to make hats for them. I hear they have quite a following.
