Hats are such an integral part of the church lady’s life that dress and suit manufacturers are now making hats to match their garments. Other companies are making hats, bags and jewelry to match as well. We met up with Gary Stahl, from Figurina Corp, and he told us that the “hats sell the suits.” Apparently customers were asking for extra fabric from Stahl so they could have hats made to match their suits. Eventually Stahl realized that making hats to match his garments might be a smart thing to do. And it was.
