New Era keeps pushing the marketing envelope
to the furthest edge of amazing. Once again they
captured the press - and the consumer’s
imagination - by arranging for Ludacris and Chingy
to make an appearance at their new Atlanta store.
These young men, who came in their gilded automobiles,
are rap singers (really God to the hip hop consumer).
The setup of New Era ATL is meant to look like
a baseball diamond with the register as "home
plate." It will also feature actual stadiums
seats showcased on the wall above the Authentic
Collection of on-field caps.

This is what the media had to say about the
opening.
”It looked like a car show on the corner
of Luckie street and Cone where Atlanta's elite
gathered yesterday evening to celebrate the Grand
Opening of the New Era flagship store. Ludacris and co-host Chingy arrived separately - Luda
in a black Bentley and Chingy in a gold Range
Rover.
After saying a few words to the press, both
men made their way to the back of the store where
they autographed special New Era fitted caps
which will go on display in the store. Other celebrities making
an appearance at the party included Cee-Lo Green,
Big Boi, Big
Gipp and Janelle Monae. The New Era ATL store
opened to the public on August 18.”
The New Era Atlanta Flagship Store is located
at 117 Luckie Street in Atlanta, GA. New Era
also has four other locations in New York City,
Buffalo, London and Toronto.
