BILTMORE CONTINUES ITS HAT TRICK PROMOTION AT HOCKEY GAMES

Biltmore has been doing this “Hat Trick” promotion for a few years and it seems to be a big hit with sports fans. The way it works is that when a player scores a hat trick (which is three goals) Biltmore awards them a hat. Biltmore is a big supporter of the Guelph, Ontario Storm, OHL hockey team in Canada.

“The "hat trick" give away garners great PR for us. Our local exposure has grown tremendously. The Guelph Storm players look forward to their free hat and they love the little ceremony that happens when one of them gets a "hat trick,” said Adam.

“The ‘old timers’ who come into our factory outlet store always say that we are reviving a great tradition. A lot of the young players really like the hats - and their fans are coming in to buy a hat ‘just like their favorite Guelph Storm hockey player has.’ We plan on continuing the tradition,” he added.

Last month Biltmore awarded a hat to Drew Doughty, who is projected to be drafted in the NHL next summer as the first or second pick overall.
