HEADWEAR DEDICATES A GIANT HAT IN IRONWOOD MICHIGAN
Ironwood,
Michigan gained a heady landmark on US 2, near
Hobby Wheel. The statue of a red Stormy Kromer
Cap stands six feet off the ground and is five
feet tall by eight feet wide - and is made of
fiberglass.
The statue was dedicated December 7th to the
Northwoods communities of Hurley, Ironwood, Bessemer
and Wakefield. Representatives from Stormy Kromer
were present for the unveiling and dedication,
along with area Stormy Kromer dealers, mayors
of Ironwood and Wakefield, Michigan.
It is hoped the new statue will be a draw for
area visitors and become a recognized symbol of
the Northwoods community.
