DESIGNERS DAZZLE WITH SILVER AND GOLD

The runways were filled with all things silver and gold last week. The Louis Vuitton spaceship Miroir handbag is the “it” bag and designers such as Ralph showed gold and metallic jackets, dresses, ski vests and a trench coat.

Color also played a big role in fashion for fall – especially red and navy. I would keep an eye on patent leather visor caps mixed with other fabrics and straw. Shine and matt finishes seem to be overtaking the obvious subtleties for fall.
