BAILEY HAT COMPANY IS THE OFFICIAL HATTER FOR MISS RODEO AMERICA

Miss Rodeo America (Ashley Andrews) will now be wearing Bailey Hats for all her public appearances in 2007. There will be an assortment of hats available to Ms. Andrews.

George S. Bailey opened a shop in Los Angeles in the 20’s catering to the needs of the "New West.” He outfitted southern California ranchers, businessmen, oil tycoons and movie stars like Roy Rogers, Cary Grant, Bing Crosby and Gary Cooper. Bailey even made the very first Mouseketeer hats for Walt Disney and the opening of Disneyland.

The eighty-four year-old hat company made the first cloth cowboy hat in 1941 and invented the "U-Rollit" in 1951.

"Meeting the gentleman working for Bailey Hat's during the Dallas Market was an awesome experience," said Miss Rodeo America 2006, Amanda Jenkins. "They asked what size I wore and immediately produced a beautiful natural 100X Beaver Bailey Hat for me to wear to a photo shoot...and after the photo shoot, they let me keep it!"

The Miss Rodeo America executives are very pleased with the new relationship. "Working with Gerry Miller and Ross Sachs has been great. They have been efficient and cooperative in producing advertising materials and helping us get ready for the Pageant. I'm enthused that they realize the value of utilizing Miss Rodeo America as a spokesperson for the marketing and promotion of Bailey Hats," said Raeana Wadhams, the executive director.
