DEBORAH HENDERSON DONATES ANTIQUE WESTERN HATS TO MUSEUM

The recipient of this collection of felt hats from the 1850’s to the 1900’s is the Frontier Times Museum in Bandera, Texas. The exhibit features hats collected by Deborah Henderson and includes a fur felt cowboy hat from the 1930's (like the one worn by actor Tom Mix).

Henderson is on the faculty at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. She has family in the Bandera area.
