HAT PROVOTEUR
ISABELLA BLOW MUSEUM PLANNED
Detmar
Blow, husband of the late fashionista Isabella
Blow, is planning to set up a foundation to protect
her trademark hats (Many of which are by Philip
Treacy). The plan will include a new museum dedicated
to Isabella, where her extensive collections of
both designer and couture clothes will be exhibited.
Many of Isabella's infamous hats are already
on display in St Petersburg and are expected to
be showcased in New Zealand, Venice, Istanbul
and New York before returning back to the UK.
"Issy was a walking art form. I'm hoping
all the people she helped in her life will cough
up some money to get this up and running,”
said Blow’s husband Detmar.
A memorial service will also be held for Isabella
at London Fashion Week. |
