DESPERATE HOUSEWIFE MARCIA CROSS CRUSADES FOR SKIN CARE AND HATS

I have been in favor of contacting Cross to be a spokesperson for the Headwear Association and the Hat Industry. She never leaves home without a hat and sunscreen and is adament that the sun is dangerous for a woman’s skin (her skin is living proof of this theory).

Because of her belief in the danger of the sun, Cross joined forces with the American Society for Dermatological Surgery to launch Skin Cancer Awareness Month. Cross is passing on her skincare and headwear regimine with the public.

Cross said she gets ridiculed at the beach because she wears a wide-brimmed hat. “I live in a hat and sunglasses and I’m always covered in sunscreen. To do this seems like a no-brainer, but a lot of people still don’t do it,” said “Desperate Housewife” star Cross.

Cross would make the perfect spokesperson and role model for Hat Wearers. She has the visibility and presence that the media respects. That’s what the headwear industry needs! If Cross is being teased for wearing a wide brimmed hat, then the public needs to be educated on the appropriateness of Hat Wearing, espcially at the beach.
