DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONS HATTERS TO MATCH CONSTRUCTION

The hats - commissioned by Fashion-week organizer
Cathy Martin - will mark the start of a three-day
event and the opening of the Victoria Square development
in March 2008.
Ten of the specially commissioned headpieces
will be unveiled in Belfast next week as part
of Fashion-week at the Baby Grand. London milliner
Jane Taylor, who also designs bridal and vintage
headwear, recently made a headpiece for supermodel
Kate Moss.
The Glass Dome headpieces will be auctioned off
for charity. Seven shows, including many firsts
for Belfast, will take place on Thursday, Friday
and Saturday and will feature collections from
retailers signed up for Victoria Square, including
House of Fraser, Hugo Boss, Ted Baker, Top Shop,
Urban Outfitters and Clockwork Orange.
Tickets for Fashion-week are on sale at the Grand
Opera House box office on 9024 1919.
