IF YOU LOVE HATS YOU’RE NOT ALONE - THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA CONTINUES TO HAIL HEADWEAR AS THE PASSPORT TO HIP

The enthusiasm and praise of headwear continues on designer runways and the streets of Santa Monica (celebrities). I am amazed at the fervor with which this trend seems to be gathering momentum. Right now, it’s more rhetoric than reality for the average consumer, but eventually they’ll get on board (hopefully).

If you look down the average street and stage a hat watch, you might not see much in the way of heads covered with hats. But the truth is – eventually everyone will be buying and wearing hats. Just this week The New York Post wrote an article called “Hats Amore” that hailed the hat as the item to covet. Of course Eugenia Kim had her say (she seems to have the media charmed) and there were pictures of a few trendy hat styles. If I were you – hat makers – I would contact the New York Post fashion editor and see if you can send samples for their next fashion story.

If you want to see what The New York Post had to say, read on.
