Traditional bridal headpieces, tiaras, fabric or straw covered hats, and sparterie blocking forms, millinery wire frames are also common in theatrical costuming due to durability. but also give shape to diaphanous, transparent hats and extravagant runway creations. In this workshop the traditional wire structure method of creating bridal headpieces will be taught but these same techniques can lead to building and covering most any shape in fabric.

Eia will also demonstrate bridal veil and embellishment techniques. Suitable for all skill levels - though hand-sewing experience is helpful. Wire and tulle for a small bridal wire headpiece are included in the course fee but students should bring basic hand-sewing supplies, and items from our supply list are provided upon registration.

Join this group of multi-media artists as we explore all aspects of the creative process.

The Creativity Continuum is a monthly gathering (3rd Sunday of Every Month or 3rd Thursday Evening of Every Month) that serves as an arena for artists and creative thinkers to explore, challenge, stretch and share their creative process.

Each monthly session opens with sharing of work (show & tell, Critique or group input), creativity warm-up exercises and then progress into creative exploration in various mediums that are either for the entire group or set in small groups or dyads. The main purpose of these exercises is to have fun and free up everyone’s creative energy.
