BALFOUR HATS PARTNERS UP WITH BIERNER HAT COMPANY

Bierner Hat Company, a division of F&M Hat Company, announces a partnership with Balfour Hats of the United Kingdom. Bierner Hat Company is now the exclusive agent for distributing Emma B hats in the US, Canada and the Caribbean.

Emma B was launched in 1998 in the UK with designer Emma Linney. Since the launch, the demand for the Emma B collection has steadily increased in the UK.

Balfour Hats, manufacturers of the Emma B collection, is celebrating their centenary this year. Owned and managed by third and fourth generation family members, Balfour is a leading supplier of British designed hats and fascinators in the UK and Europe.

Bierner Hat Company is the ladies division of F&M Hat Company, Inc. “For more than 100 years we have been a successful family- owned business located in Pennsylvania. Our ladies labels include Giovannio, Io Giovanni, Georgi, Mr. Charles and Miss Bierner,” said a Bierner spokesperson.

The collection ranges from special occasion ladies millinery (for such events as the Kentucky Derby, garden parties or church) to casual garden or beach wear. Some of their fabrics change seasonally while others are offered in Seasonless fibers.

“We are currently offering an exciting collection of Fascinators- those ornate oversized “headbands” that are all the rage in the UK.”
