| EMERGING DESIGNERS
WANTED FOR L.A. FASHION WEEK RUNWAY SHOW
Emerging designers are wanted for
the Downtown Los Angeles Fashion Week
from October 13 to 15 (this is a partnership with
the Department of Cultural Affairs for LA).at
the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA.
To be considered for the show,
candidates must have received their design training
in Los Angeles and be able to produce 10 looks.
Three emerging designers will be chosen by a committee
from “Project Runway” third-season
winner Jeffrey Sebelia, designer and retailer
Nony Tochterman of Petro Zillia, designer Louis
Verdad and Vanessa Gonzalez, who is a contestant
on “Launch My Line.” The deadline
for submissions is Aug 28.
