LARGER CROWDS EXPECTED FOR LAS VEGAS OFF-PRICE SHOW

Organizers of the Off-Price Specialist Show (Aug. 28–Sept. 1) at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, said pre-registration is up 19 percent over last February’s show.

The show features overruns, irregular and past-season merchandise at discount prices. As the economic downturn has put pressure on pricing, more retailers have been looking for in-stock and off-price apparel and accessories.

Demand has pushed floor space to a near sell-out position, said Stephen Krogulski, CEO of the Off-Price Specialist Show.
