NEW ERA WILL DONATE MONEY TO THE JACKIE ROBINSON FOUNDATION

New Era will donate one dollar for each cap sold at their New Era Flagship Stores and at the New Era website (www.neweracap.com) during February.

New Era has entered into a partnership with the Jackie Robinson Foundation that provides four-year college scholarships, graduate school grants and mentoring to minority students with financial need and a record of leadership.

New Era also donated $250,000 to support the Foundation’s scholarship and mentoring program. “Through this unique public effort, New Era and the Foundation will honor Jackie Robinson’s guiding philosophy that ‘A life is not important except in its impact on other lives,’” said Jackie Robinson Foundation CEO Della Britton Baeza. “It will also advance the Foundation’s vision of promoting access to higher education for all Americans to mold future leaders to carry forth Jackie’s values and ideals.”

New Era will provide mentors to Jackie Robinson Foundation winners as well as internships and career placements. They also plan to make product donations to Jackie Robinson Foundation events.
