HAS ALL EYES WATCHING THE WONDERMENT OF HEADWEAR

The five-day event known as the Royal Ascot is
known for its flash and dash and its illustrious
headwear.
It is also one of the biggest events on the
racing calender, where hats capture as much attention
as the horses (there was even betting going on
about the color of the Queen’s hat). The
color yellow was given 4 to 1 odds by bookmakers.
The Royals arrived before the first race with
the traditional parade in front of the main stand.
Beatrice and Princess Anne made an appearance,
while Duchess of Cornwall Camilla wore a Vivienne
Westwood dress and jacket and a hat by milliner,
Phillip Treacy.
The Queen wore a primrose yellow linen jacket
with yellow and white floral print skirt (by Stuart
Parvin) and a matching yellow hat by Rachel Trevor-Morgan.
The crowd of hat loving folks - and the horsey
set - seemed to enjoy the lavish celebritory event.
