BRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER IS HAVING THEIR ANNUAL SALE IN SOUTH FLORIDA

Brides Against Breast Cancer is selling new and almost new wedding dresses at very low prices and donating the proceeds to the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation.

Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization that grants wishes for terminally ill stage- 4 breast cancer patients.

“The Foundation transports hundreds of gowns, as well as shoes, headpieces, veils and accessories. Brides trying on gowns are assisted by local volunteers,” said bridal shoe designer Angela Nuran, South Florida Marketing Chair of Brides Against Breast Cancer.

“Last year was our first sale ever and we raised $17,000. We are hoping to break the all- time sales record for the entire country this year. Hopefully the July sale in Miami will help us accomplish that goal,” added Nuran.

Most of the wedding dresses range in price from $499 to $799 (and includes designer dresses).

Brides Against Breast Cancer is looking for corporate sponsors or individuals to help grant wishes.

They are also asking hatters if they have veils or wedding hats they would like to contribute to the sale.

The upcoming wedding dress sale is May 29, 30 and 31 at Embassy Suites, 17 Street Causeway, Fort Lauderdale and July 26 at Miami Beach Convention Center. For information call 954-658-3001 or visit www.bridesagainstbreastcancer.org.
