BEN’S DELI the well-known Deli from Long Island continues to proliferate across the country. Now that most deli’s have become part of restaurant chains, they no longer offer fresh food. Unfortunately for us deli-lovers this spells disaster (and hunger pains). BEN’S has come to the rescue by opening up a new restaurant in Boca Raton, Florida. We are pleased to announce that Ben’s has stuck with tradition and is offering homemade brisket, corned beef, cole- slaw, stuffed cabbage, chopped liver (this is our heritage), kasha, sauces, soups, stuffed derma etc. The steak is superb and so are the fresh mashed and French fried potatoes. This is a must-stop for anyone from any heritage. The only prerequisite: make sure you are hungry before you go. Other Ben’s restaurants are in NYC, Bayside NY, Baldwin NY, Carle Place, Greenvale and Woodbury. The service is also good, what more can you ask for?
