THE
HAT WORLD ACCORDING TO HAT MAKER CHARLIE SWINDALL:
Charlie Swindall of Gladhatter
is seeing an “over overwhelming resurgence
in the demand for ultra high end men's hats, like
pure sterling beaver fedoras.” Gladhatter
recently created a public hat forum
for people to talk about hats. “Our hat
forum includes milliners and lady hatters as well.
We also have a swap meet and flea market where
you can trade a hat that does not fit with one
that does. We also offer vendors a section to
locate hard to find items. We offer no minimums
on logo hats, and can make from as little as 6
of a style to 1 million with your logo.”
The traditional Chassidic Jewish long hair velour
hats are also available. We would like to invite
all hat lovers, hat vendors and suppliers to get
together at our free public hat forum to learn
about traditional hat making and preservation.
We hope to restore hats to their former glory
and are actively doing so.” Check
out the hat forum at: www.gladhatter.com/forum
