DORFMAN PACIFIC GOES COUNTRY WITH A NEW HAT LINE: Country superstar Toby Keith has been wearing Dorfman Pacific's "Scala" western hats for some time and just signed a licensing agreement with Dorfman Pacific for his own Toby Keith Hat Collection.

"For a lot of Americans, a hat makes a statement and I guess I am no different," said Keith, whose new album, Honkytonk University was released May 17th. "I enjoy wearing one and I am happy that what I wear is now available to fans, people who might identify with me and my music, or anyone else who just feels like it."

The Toby Keith Collection will include Western hats and baseball caps under the Dorfman Pacific brands, Scala and DPC, with retail prices ranging from $15 to $50, and traditional and upscale Western hats under the Milano name. Both men's and women's collections will be shipped to western retails stores and department stores in mid-November. The singer/songwriter was Billboard's 2004 Top Country Artist, Top Male Country Artist, Top Country Album Artist and Top Hot Country Singles & Tracks Artist.

BRONER'S DAY IN THE SUN: Broner has a new licensing agreement with Schering-Plough to market Coppertone-branded hats with a UV rating of 45. The summer hats are in Albertson's stores.
