GOORIN BROTHERS GETS BRANDED: GOORIN BROTHERS is now a recognized BRAND in the headwear industry. Goorin Brothers spokesman said that the Goorin Brothers label is selling very well in Spain, Italy and Australia. Customers are not only buying their hats but are seeking out the Goorin Brothers label. One of their best selling hats is a military cadet style.

HOT OFF THE PRESS: Goorin Brothers also announces two new hat lines. Their OWL line is a better priced women’s hat line which will include boutique style knit hats and beanies with matching gloves and arm warmers. Derek Peoples and Ben Goorin are designing the line. Also included are bags with leather trim and distressed floral cotton hobo bags. CASSEL is their new higher priced men’s trendy hat line, which will have distressed leather and other high quality fabrics.

Goorin Brothers hats will also be making an appearance in high visible Hollywood movies next year. Their arm warmers and knit hats have been seen in WWD.

RED HAT LADIES KEEP TRUCKIN’: There is a RED HAT SOCIETY convention in Las Vegas from June 24 to June 29 at the MGM Grand Hotel. They are expecting 8,000 people at the convention.
