ARTEX KNITTING MILLS, one of the last of the domestic knitwear and accessory companies in the US, announces that Avi Green, son of founder Bernard Gerbarg, is now working in the human resources department. Son, Louis Gerbarg is also on board handling all of their technology needs. Gary Rothchild, son-in-law of Arthur Pottash, recently came from Israel to work in Artex Knitting Mills customs department. According to VP of sales Joel Cohen, Artex Knitting Mills continues to thrive, despite the influx of imports. “We are alive and well, and we’re still making union made knit goods. We are looking for wholesalers, distributors and promotional products companies who need a source for blanks, private label and finished goods with embellishments. We do it all here.” For information call Joel Cohen at 856-456-2800 or joel@artexknit.com.
