Shanghai Tang on Madison Avenue had a fashion show to introduce their ’06 collection. Nice fabrics, nice colors, but will it sell in Peoria?

We went to the new LOVE accessory store on 5th Avenue (owned by the GAP), but we were not allowed to take pictures. We did manage to get one photo on the fly. Most of the hats had matching scarves and were in upbeat pastel pink, green, blue and yellow. It is not a bad idea to add accessories to your ladies hat collections. How about boot warmers or bands to put on the top of boots with matching headwear? How about hats with matching cell phone cases? There are so many pet owners outfitting their dogs in coats and hats this year that you might want to create coats and hats for dogs that match their owners. As I said, it’s just a thought.

Hail to the Hip
Hipster in sateen blazer with striped hat and pastel sweater. This was the site of the DKNY store party for the unveiling of Donna’s limited edition of the Message of Hope perfume. There were celebrities, very loud music, finger food and lots of black. We managed to get a shot of Donna and Nicky Hilton. My ears are still ringing!
