NEW COMPANY INTRODUCES SCARF HATS CALLED SNOODIE
SNOODIE was created by New Yorker Dr.
Shelley Reciniello, who was tired of wearing hats
and getting hat hair. “I was always searching
for something that would keep my head and ears
warm without smashing my hair. One day, going
through my closet, I found a tube top and wondered
what it would look like on my head,” said
Dr. Reciniello. “I loved the way it fit
and looked, so I had one made out of fine wool
jersey. That was 20 years ago and just about every
time I go out, someone in an elevator or restaurant
asks me, ‘Where did you get that?’”
Turning this personal solution into an accessory
company became her dream.

THE NEW ANECDOTE FOR “HAT HAIR”…
FOR THOSE WHO PREFER NOT TO MASH THEIR LOCKS |
The reality of this dream became SNOODIE, which
Debuted this fall. Made of velvet, micro fleece,
wool and metallic knits, the SNOODIE can be draped
around the shoulders to create a cowl scarf as
well. Reciniello hopes that her creation will
take on the cult status of the Pashmina shawl.
