IT’S CRYSTAL CLEAR, CRYSTALS ARE HOT

A Miami Gardens, Florida retailer, Grab-N-Brag, has discovered a winning retail formula: decorate everything with Swarovski's crystals from Austria. The three-year-old store, Grab-N-Brag is so successful that they opened one for kids down the block. Owner and designer Sara Shames loves crystals so much that she has even decorated a Tony the Tiger Pez dispenser. The Laredo, Texas, native who lives in South Florida, puts stones on a computer station, cellphone, even a steering wheel for a golf cart.

The clothing is also decorated with smiley faces, dragons, skulls, peace signs or hearts. ''You may think I carry very young-looking merchandise, but hip people in their 80s come in here, buying up everything,'' said Shames. Shelves are lined with Swarovski-embossed bibs, jammies and clothing for little ones.
